Zinc (Zn) is an essential micronutrient for plant growth, and chelating it with glycine enhances its availability, absorption, and mobility within plants. Glycine is an amino acid, which means plants can absorb Zn-glycine through amino acid transporters more efficiently than inorganic Zn. Glycine helps in protein synthesis, root growth, and stress resistance.
